hello there, i am no expert on tc at all however i have done many projects. Honestly it is very fun and rewarding but like anything requires a lot of pracitice. and patience. I reccomend looking up Kitchen Culture Kits online, and I reccomend trying to buy what you can yourself and not from a kit like vinegar, get some pint jars, baby food jars, surgical tape, tweezers, etc .

Some members on my site and I started an FAQ for tissue culture. It's incomplete, but some people might find it helpful: Tissue Culture FAQ

Nice FAQ, will read it as I am planning to make a small In-Vitro lab at home for non-commercial reproduction of CPs and Orchids.

Hello All,
I’m new here, just joined this morning. What a great site!
I have never tried TC'ing nepenthes but will give them a try this weekend. I hoping to do a quick video on the process and will post it on YouTube, if I get the okay from the person who sent me the seeds. If nothing else I’ll post some picts as I go along. I'm sure that would be okay.
I have TC’d Drosera and Dionaea muscipula before, both from leaf cuttings. I will start the nepenthes from seeds. I was sent several types of nepenthes. Some are one of a kind so, I’m not sure how they will take to germinate. Hopefully not too long.
I would like to try TC'ing one from a section of a plant growing ex vitro. I’m always up for a difficult challenge:-) I think it can be done with a lot of prep work. I don't have any plants growing at this time. More fun for some time in the future.

Hey Frank, good to see you here on the ICPS forum. Good luck with the Nepenthes tissue. I look forward to seeing any photos or videos you do and I hope that you have some success!
