Polinating was sucessfull, seed pods ripe and yesterday I placed some of the seeds in water. Took some pics with a few hours interval and I will try it again, but with less time between pics some day with more spare time :smiling: Flowers Seed pod 13h55min 16h10min 18h43min 23h30min Now when sowing, I'll have to try some peat and perlite mix, not enough sphagnum for all Enjoy.

Wow Ivo,
These are really nice photographs!
I've not grown this species and am a bit suprised the seed resembles U. humboltii seed, even if the seedlings are clearly different. I have U. h. growing in a couple of different conditions and the best growing plants are kept very wet (well they all are now). I can't really even call what there are growing "soil"; it is more of a peat based "slurry".

private growers. you will have to buy or trade them with other members. i got several seeds from a member about a year ago who gave them out for free.

Hey
How do you grow the U. nelumbifolia?
I recieved a plant today. seems that it needs to grow very wet and large bowl
What about you growers? need a large bowl, need to let the plant grow ( creeping) in to other pots.
All suggestions are welcome
