Hey Everyone- ;D Bo, here. I'm originally from Hawaii where I first started growing neps about 22 years ago, then a big hurricane came through and pretty much wiped out what I had, then I found a new hobby . . . girls. But now that I married one and now live in the Northwest, I would like to start again with some lowland Neps. I am presently building a hothouse that I hope will be filled a couple of monster bicals and raffs soon. So please forgive all my ?'s as I try to get my thumb green again with neps. Aloha, Bo

Welcome, Bo. There is quite a group of CP nuts in the Pacific northwest. There are 38 ICPS members in Oregon, 35 in Washington, and 9 in British Columbia. If you are an ICPS member, you can search the membership directory. icps.clubexpress.com

Hiya Hikenyura-
Thanks for the "hope" in my return in growing neps.
I notice you live in the Bay area, by any chance do you visit California Carnivores?
I heard that Peter has a couple of big bicals (which I am searching for) that I would love to have in my lowland greenhouse.
Thanks, Bo

Hi Bo! I'm much like you...I grew CP for several years in my greenhouse and had a massive collection. Due to faulty heating while i was away one Winter, i lost most of my collection. It figures that was the Winter that Florida had it's hard freeze and the citrus crops were lost too...I was very discouraged and lost interest. After stopping and visiting a favorite bog in the panhandle a while back and seeing S.Flava and S. Purperea Venosa growing wild.....once again the flames are fanned! Something about CP captures my soul...(am i nuts?) Enjoy! Bri.

Just wait until you get an assignment or homework that you can twist around to the subject of CP's, and then you can visit CC, and maybe convince your parents that the large plant for sale in the corner of the show room is required to further your education!
