Thanks for the reply! That was an intresting thread. General Hydroponics is the name of the company that makes the Subculture product. Anyway I was givin some of this and was looking into trying some on my Neps. The only thing that worries me is the Subculture product has some nutrients in it (0.1-0.04-0.02). It contains both benifical fungus and bacteria (mostly bacteria)..

One bit of advice. Whenever you experiment with a new product or technique:
First: Try it on a plant that you do not mind losing. Don't put it on all of your plants. This might result in a disaster.
Second: Do a standard treatment and control. It is best to have identical plants for which some are treated and some are not. Otherwise, how would you know if the treatment worked. If the treated plants died (or increased in growth or color) and the untreated plants did not, then you likely have a treatment effect. The key is whether there is an observable difference between treated and untreated.

Couldn't agree more Bob.
I'm going to try on a tray of 40 N. gymnamphora seedlings. 10 - just watered 10 - ordinary weekly dilute fertiliser 10 - just the EM (I'm not making up the EM fertiliser) 10 - EM and fertiliser.
If it doesn't kill thing instantly, I'll water my Sarra's with some - It makes so much, it'll be wasted if I don't as it has a limited shelf life.
