Hey Phil,
Just a thanks for showing Beth and me around Meadowview, and talking conservation, genetics, and restoration ecology tactics as well as Meadowview's sound conservation principles.
Alas, we didn't have time to take enough photographs for a full trip report on my web site, but I'll be putting up something that I hope you'll enjoy. Stay tuned.
You were right, by the way, that Virginia is in a bad way in terms of carnivorous plants. We didn't see any carnivores on our trip other than the ones in Meadowview. Our native CP are in bad shape in your part of the country, and what you're doing to set aside Joseph Pines is really important.
Cheers
Barry

Hey Phil, On the day that Beth and I visited, we only had a little time (and most of that was spent in engrossing conversations). So...there was little time spent for photography. But I did snap a few photographs, and I appended them to a field trip report I wrote up for my previous trip to Virginia. I have the trip report here: www.sarracenia.com/trips/vanj012002/im21.htmlAgain, thanks for hosting me and Beth!!!! Barry
