Part 5 - The whole jing gang, including Mr Rumphius ;D Rob, Mr Rumphius and Will. Will seemed extremely pleased to be sniffed at the ear. LMAO Ahem, mind you...that hand is Mr Rumphius'. Guess who's the prankster behind all these shots... Who else but Phill! Meanwhile Diana and Jerry were having some very serious discussion, over a rajah-pitcher-full-of-Heineken. Back to Mr Rumphius and his pals. And the jolly good rajah pitcher! Finally, the group shots.

WOW! Awesome pics, Cindy! Thank you!
I had no idea the black N. truncata was THAT big. I so hope someday one like that will be put in vitro.

seriously that black truncata is just impeccable. I really hope that BE can make some plants available in the future. This plant is a potential gold mine.

Cindy,
Thanks for sharing! Amazing plants! I am glad you piqued my curiosity about Mr. Rumphius. The story of his life is very inspirational! I hope others take the time to do a brief read about him.
Take care, Steven Stewart

Varun, if my pathetic memory don't fail me that truncata on display is female. I am glad everyone enjoyed the photos. So if you don't mind the overdose...here are more! Wait, we have a guest! Mr Vic Brown! After all that beer, a lowii? I had to taste the nectar...it was rancid after a week of the display. N. ampullaria 'Cantley's red' N. ampullaria 'Harlequin' N. spatulata N. x 'Gardentech' - N. ampullaria x ventricosa N. copelandii N. spectabilis 'giant' N. rajah N. veitchii 'bario' - my favourite
