Galen Gillotte, fellow LACPS member/Children's Librarian and I gave a CP talk at the San Dimas, California County Library on July 19. There were at least 15 school-age children, 5 preschool children, and several adults. It was a gas! We're pretty sure one of the staff got hooked on CPs too.
Next time I'll bring more flytraps because everyone wanted to see the Great Bug Sacrifice over and over again. I brought a lot of flightless fruitflies and mealworms and did a lot of live feedings, but they still wanted to see more flytraps in action.
We gave away some spare D. capensis and some P. moranensis. And of course most of the kids wanted a sprinkle of fruitflies on their new plant!

II believe this is the best step towards betterment. student can learn more from this initiative and can gain as much knowledge as they can in plantation. This is the great job and this is the way with the help of which one can learn as much as he or she can...
