sorry these are awesome plants, but I'm not really familiar with them. Is the cobralily like top showed there a flower?

These are Aroids, the common name for members of the Araceae family of plants. The bizarre combination of spathe and spadix, the inflorescence, sometimes referred to as a "flower", is a distinguishing feature of all aroids. Another feature can be the odour of the inflorescence, stench may be a better word. The ones I grow do not have this feature ( I learned a lesson many years ago with a voodoo lily).
