Trip Report: low country in the Carolinas

Hey Folks,

I am posting another trip report which, much to my own astonishment, finally brings me up to date!

This trip was to the low country of North and South Carolina. I visited a number of carnivorous plant sites along the Atlantic coast, spanning about 200 km of habitat north to south, at which I saw Dionaea and many other carnivorous plants. It was interesting seeing Dionaea over such a large range.

My guides included Mark Todd (a presence on this very discussion board) and Jim Luken, from South Carolina. I abused both in good humor (very slightly) in this trip report, as usual.

Great photos, as usual. Thanks for sacrificing your body for some of them. I especially liked "Post-fire," "Onslow County," and "Another second chance."
