Annual General Meeting of The Carnivorous Plant Society, Reading University – Saturday 28th April
The events start at Reading University on Saturday April 22nd at 1pm, with the AGM, as well as the usual Society business, there will be the customary auction of plants in aid of the CPS conservation fund, please bring along and donate any spare plants you may have towards this good cause. Please note that all plant sellers are expected to donate a plant to this worthy cause.
We will be showing a film by independent German film makers, Sigfried and Irmgard Hartmeyer: ‘Snap-tentacles and Runway Light’s’ an excellent and thought-provoking look at movement and structures within the genus Drosera. Andy Smith will also give a talk on his recent visits to Tasmania and Singapore and, for my sins; I’ll give a short talk on a recent germination experiment with Roridula gorgonias.
Cheers
