jm82792: Sounds like you're a fan of flypaper. I do have some sundews and really like the dwarf sundews (I have a tray full of them!) I really like forms like hamiltonii and slackii, however my passion are American Pitcher plants. Every once in a while I will offer free seeds from my capensis, binata and filiformis (which grow like weeds in my bog gardens) and in the fall, I should have gemmae from my dwarf drossera crosses. I'll be sure to post them somewhere on this forum.

I'd be wary of rot with the Sarracenia in very wet or undrained containers. I noticed you have a very nice purp growing in a very wet spot. I wouldn't let it stay like that for too long.

I was looking at your photos again and couldn't help but notice how you planted your psittacinas. Very nice idea to plant them sloped down toward the water. I would agree that Sarrs can definitely rot in very wet conditions or undrained containers.

This allows me to monitor water levels and also to water my plants without disturbing the rest of the planter. Also, have terraced levels for different levels of watering - like you pointed out - having psittacina lower in the bogs. :)

I have noticed that your plants display a LOT of phyllodia. Nice pictures, I love your bog gardens. Some very tall pitchers there!
